Item Description

Greco SG-300-Cherry- (1970s) (no260705)

This is a Greco "SG-300 (SG-360)" manufactured in the early 1970s.This model features a bolt-on neck joint and was likely positioned as a relatively entry-level model at the time. The model number changed from SG-300 to SG-360 around 1974, and this particular instrument was manufactured during that transitional period.Since this model does not have a serial number, the exact year of manufacture is unknown, but the presence of original humbuckers with an embossed "Greco" logo suggests it was manufactured around 1973-1974.The unique silhouette with a 17-fret joint is also a charm unique to this era. This is a guitar that offers a different atmosphere from current models. This model is also recommended for those who want to easily enjoy the atmosphere unique to vintage Japanese guitars.[Condition]Numerous scratches are visible on the body and neck. The metal parts show some tarnishing.
The frets have about 50% remaining.
The truss rod has been confirmed to have plenty of adjustment range in both directions.
The string height is set at 1.25mm on the 1st string and 1.50mm on the 6th string with 10-46 gauge strings.
Pot cleaning, jack adjustment, saddle screw fabrication, nut groove adjustment, neck dent repair, tuning peg adjustment, and overall adjustment have been performed.

Accessories: Non-original softshell case
