Fabulous antique Japanese patinated copper tripod bowl or ritual wash basin with foliate rim and incised decoration featuring coiling dragon amongst the clouds with visible remnants of partially silvered surface. This type is sometimes described as being from the Muromachi period but they are likely slightly later Edo period examples.
