Antique Pair Italian / Spanish Talavera Maiolica Lion Candlesticks c.1880

This is a rare pair of Italian or Spanish Talavera mailoica lion candlesticks, circa 1880. 

If I lived in the US I would be dropping them into New Orleans Auction rather rapidly.

CONDITION both with glaze chips, one has a 'chip' below the eye' which is actually a firing flaw, the same one has firing cracks beneath the base - as per images

The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.
