10 x 10 (X) CASH COINS
Copper cash coins were struck in Birmingham for the English East India Company and sent to India by ship. Unfortunately, the ship they were on, The HINDOSTAN, sank on the WEDGE SAND, off the Kent coast of England on January 11th 1803. The ship was carrying a valuable cargo for the English East India Company (EIC), including 50 tons of tin, 20 tons of copper cash coins plus much silver. Much was recovered at the time but more items were recovered in the 1960's.....
Listing is for a JOB LOT of 10 cash coins as shown, these are generally low grade with corrosion/dirt, maybe look good in a display cabinet......! Comes with a certificate of authenticity from World Treasure Books.
