Here I have for sale a fantastic piece of original 80s nostalgia: a vintage original 1986 Generation 1 (G1) Transformers Autobot Protectobots bundle, including the highly rare original factory instruction sheet manual

Released by Hasbro in 1986, the Protectobots are a specialized civil defense and emergency rescue team that can transform from vehicles into individual robot modes, or combine into the massive combiner titan Defensor

What Is Included In This Lot:
Hot Spot: The large blue fire engine command truck who serves as the structural torso core of Defensor
Blades: The red and white rescue helicopter
Streetwise: The sleek white Nissan 300ZX police cruiser
Groove: The white police cruiser motorcycle
First Aid: The white and beige emergency response ambulance van
Original 1986 Instruction Sheet: A genuine, vintage paper manual tracking the exact conversion steps
Defensor Combiner Parts: Includes 1 x black chest shield armor piece and 1 x black combiner fist

The year 1986 was a massive turning point for Transformers. Halfway through the year, Hasbro released The Transformers: The Movie to theatres  They intentionally killed off many original 1984/1985 characters (including Optimus Prime) to completely clear old stock and make room for brand-new, advanced gimmicks like the Combiner Teams

While the Decepticons had aggressive military teams like the Constructicons and Combaticons, the Protectobots were introduced in 1986 as the definitive Autobot emergency response and rescue squad—the spiritual ancestors to today's Rescue Bots. They prioritized the active defense of human civilian lives over standard warfare 

In late 1985 and 1986, Takara and Hasbro introduced the interchangeable "Scramble City" system. This allowed the smaller limb robots to plug universally into any combiner torso core from the era. Kids could mix and match parts from different teams, making it one of the most successful, highly playable toy configurations of the entire decade
