As a general rule, returns are accepted in accordance with eBay policies and applicable statutory regulations. Private individuals protected by applicable EU consumer legislation may have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the item, without giving a reason.
This right allows the item to be inspected to the extent necessary to determine its nature and characteristics. Any decrease in value caused by use beyond such inspection may be deducted from the refund where legally permitted. For legal entities and corporate buyers, withdrawal based solely on change of mind is not accepted unless required by binding law or eBay policy.
Return process: the return request must first be communicated through the official eBay messaging/return system in order to receive return instructions and, where applicable, an RMA reference.
The item must be returned safely packed, with all originally included accessories. Heavy IT equipment must be protected against vibration, impact and movement during transit. Shipping damage caused by inadequate return packaging is the buyer's responsibility.
Returns must be sent using a tracked postal or courier service. The tracking number must be provided through eBay immediately after dispatch. COD, postage-due or unannounced packages cannot be accepted.
What to do if a product arrives damaged or defective.
If a product arrives defective or damaged, please contact us through eBay as soon as possible and provide comprehensive photo documentation of the product, the outer box and all inner packaging materials. This is required so the claim can be assessed properly.
The outer box and all inner packaging materials should be retained until the investigation is fully completed. Discarding packaging may prevent a successful carrier claim or complaint assessment.
If the product is confirmed to have arrived defective or damaged and the issue is reported within a reasonable time, we will handle the case in accordance with eBay policy, the applicable warranty terms and statutory requirements. Where required, we cover the return shipping cost needed for replacement or assessment.
No replacement part or refund can be issued until the reported defective item has been returned to our premises and professionally inspected, unless eBay policy or applicable law requires a different process.
Warranty or compensation may not apply where inspection shows improper installation, misuse, external physical damage, inadequate power/cooling, or unauthorised software or firmware interference.

If a post-purchase adjustment is required - for example additional items, shipping changes, tax differences or buyer-requested modifications - it must be handled in a manner permitted by eBay policy and confirmed through the official eBay messaging system.
In-person collection may be possible only when it is explicitly agreed in advance and permitted for the given transaction. For corporate buyers, any cash payment limit is subject to applicable statutory regulations.

Products and components may be individually serial-numbered and security-marked. Returning a different item or substituted component may result in the refusal of the return and further action through the appropriate eBay and legal channels.
We are not responsible for circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including customs delays, carrier disruption, strikes, extreme weather or other force majeure events.
For shipments outside the European Union, import clearance, local import VAT, customs duties, clearance fees and cooperation with local authorities are the buyer's responsibility unless eBay indicates otherwise.

The actual aesthetic and technical condition of each item is determined by the individual product description and the real-condition photo documentation attached to the listing. Unless clearly stated otherwise, our listings use our own product photos.
Compatibility with the buyer's hardware, firmware, operating system, software environment and existing infrastructure is the buyer's responsibility. Please ask questions before purchasing if compatibility is uncertain.
Items listed as Untested, Incomplete, Defective or For Parts / Repair are sold according to that condition statement and do not carry a normal operational warranty unless expressly stated otherwise.
Quality assurance: incoming hardware is inspected, cleaned and tested where applicable. Outgoing goods are checked before dispatch and product details are recorded internally.
Grading applies to external cosmetic appearance only. Functional condition is stated separately in each listing. Due to the weight of server equipment, cosmetic marks can occur during rack mounting, warehouse handling and international transit.

Logistics preparation and dispatch take place after full settlement of the purchase price and any required administrative, shipping or tax-related differences. All sold items are physically located in Dunakeszi, Hungary.
Standard handling time is generally 1-3 business days, because servers and network devices may require configuration, final testing and secure packaging before dispatch.
Every shipment is sent with an individual tracking number, uploaded to eBay after dispatch. Items are shipped only to the address registered on the official eBay order. Post-purchase address changes cannot be accepted for security reasons.
B2B risk allocation: for corporate buyers, shipments may be handled on CPT (Carriage Paid To) - Incoterms 2020 terms to the buyer's destination, unless otherwise stated. Freight costs are paid by Interbolt.eu Kft.; risk transfers according to the applicable Incoterms and statutory rules.
B2C buyers: for private individuals, risk of damage or loss passes according to applicable EU consumer protection rules.
Seller warranty, batteries, manufacturer warranty and warranty processing.
Interbolt.eu Kft. provides a voluntary seller warranty on used, refurbished and recycled enterprise hardware, servers and network equipment for the duration specified on the product page and invoice. The warranty period begins on the day the buyer receives the item.
The warranty covers factory or functional hardware failures under normal, intended and competent operating conditions. Warranty eligibility is verified using the serial numbers / part numbers recorded in our internal system.
Unauthorised replacement, removal or modification of components that was not agreed in writing may void the warranty. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, inadequate power supply, overvoltage, lightning strike, insufficient cooling, dusty environment, misuse or third-party firmware/software modification.
Manufacturer warranty on new complete servers: official manufacturer warranty applies only to complete servers explicitly listed as New / Brand New. Transfer or registration of the manufacturer warranty is handled through the manufacturer's official channels where available.
New components sold individually or inside a configuration - such as enterprise SSDs, HDDs, RAM, NICs, RAID controllers or PSUs - do not automatically carry a transferable manufacturer warranty. They are covered by the seller warranty stated in the listing.
In the event of a confirmed warranty defect, the issue is resolved primarily by replacement part or repair. Replacement components will be equivalent in specification and market value, or higher specification where stock allows.
Average warranty processing time is usually 14-30 calendar days after the defective item has been returned and professionally inspected. If international procurement takes longer, the buyer will be informed.
