Here is a vintage Karl Ens porcelain yellow canary bird figurine.

It measures 5 inches tall x 3 inches beak to tall x 2 inches wide at the base. It was handcrafted by the Karl Ens Porcelain Factory in Thuringia, Germany (also near Volkstedt).

The specific time frame for this piece is estimated to be between the 1920's and 1930's. The markings on the base bottom include the "ENS" logo and "Germany" in dark green under the glaze.

There is also the initials "HTR" and number "9433" written on the base feet best seen in the last photo.

Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, breaks, repairs or crazing found.
