This is for a rare antique Swiss wrist compass probably made by Muller & Vaucher in the early 1900s. It has the original bars on the sides to fit a watch strap into and the compass face has the more unusual Cyrillic letters, I believe this was made for export. The button at the side locks the points in place and it looks to be working as it should. It is in excellent condition with no damage, there are no dents, no cracks or scratches in the glass and the face has no fading, it really is as good as they get. It measures 35mm (1.5") in diameter.
