A superb example of a very rare watch.

The movement, dial, hands and crown are from an 18k gold one, which was stripped for the metal value. All of it was in pristine working condition.

The case is the Silver Arrow case, the sister watch offered during the same period, but in stainless. I have the working movement and dial for that. Not included in this sale unless by agreement. Picture here included and marked.

This watch:

- 34mm stainless case in good used condition.

- near pristine movement in working condition. Accurate and all functions work crisply. Service history unknown.

- dial has a fingerprint (handling) mark near the centre at about 9 o’clock. Only close inspection reveals this.

- the hands and hour markers are near perfection . The seconds hand has oxidation specks.

- a new good quality leather strap will be fitted before dispatching.

- crystal is new and correctly fitted without glue.

The watch in this configuration is rare. I will gladly include the spare movement and dial at the full price. Well worth the bother; it took me three years to find a movement with the inset date.

Fastidious collectors will need to know that the case numbers and the movement numbers are not a factory match.
