Original early 20th-century Clover Brand Valve Grinding Compound tin featuring the iconic shamrock logo. Manufactured by Clover Manufacturing Co., Norwalk, Conn., a well-known supplier of automotive and industrial abrasives used in valve lapping and engine repair.

This small lithographed steel tin retains its original green graphics and advertising. The lid and base both display period-correct branding and product information. A great piece of early automotive, garage, tool, or petroliana memorabilia.
