The Orient Mako (RN-AC0K03L) is a mechanical automatic diver-design watch powered by Orient's reliable in-house movement. Since its founding in 1950, Orient has combined dependable in-house movements with original design to offer high-quality watches at accessible prices, making the brand a great choice for everyday wear as well as for enthusiasts who enjoy switching between watches.
This is part of Orient's popular Diver Design series, a line that traces its history back to 1964. The series is built around a large 43.4 mm case with a screw-down crown positioned at the 4 o'clock spot, and a sapphire crystal, giving it a strong, functional sports-watch presence. The 4 o'clock crown case design keeps the crown from digging into the wrist when you turn your hand. The hour hand uses an arrow shape for easy reading at a glance, the second-hand tip carries a touch of accent color, and the dial features premium applied indexes. Luminous Light high-brightness lume on the hands and indexes provides good visibility in dark conditions.
This particular model has a blue radial dial with a two-tone bezel. It is rated to 20 ATM water resistance (note: this is not an ISO-compliant diver's watch). The movement includes a hacking (second-hand stop) function.
Specifications: case diameter 43.4 mm, case thickness 14 mm, stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, blue dial, automatic movement with manual winding, band length approximately 200 mm. Includes a one-year manufacturer warranty.
