Detail
This is the Edward Elric Model watch from Fullmetal Alchemist, released as a made-to-order limited item by Super Groupies in 2015.
The three-dimensional dial features a layered construction, and the use of brass materials recreates the heavy metallic feel of Edward’s Automail. The iconic Flamel Cross, a familiar motif from the series, is engraved at the bottom of the dial.
The strap is designed to represent Edward’s black outfit and red coat, while the braided pattern is inspired by his hairstyle, giving the watch a unique and distinctive character unlike any other. The original strap had worn out due to age and use, so it has been replaced with a high-quality Italian leather strap.
Although it is a character-themed item, the watch has the appearance of a stylish designer timepiece at first glance. It works beautifully as a fashion accent for casual outfits and can be enjoyed by both men and women.
The Fullmetal Alchemist logo is engraved on the case back, subtly revealing its identity as an official character item.
After 10 years since its production, the natural aging of the materials has created a matured charm similar to that of an antique watch.
The watch is equipped with a MIYOTA 2039 movement (Made in Japan), ensuring reliable accuracy and durability as a timepiece. The battery was replaced in June 2026.
The presentation box also features a carefully designed appearance. A large gold-printed Flamel Cross is displayed at the center of the lid, and the inner cushion is finished in red to match Edward’s image.
Ten years have passed since its release, and with no reissue ever produced, a complete set including all original accessories has become an extremely rare find.
