- Recommendation: To ensure maximum safety and stability, please do not use the Sunshade Sail Poles on decks or soft ground. We strongly recommend burying the pole at least 100 centimeters deep in the ground and securing it with concrete. Then use a 10mm bit and electric drill to drive the expansion screw into the concrete, tighten the nut, and attach the steel wire rope to the hook.
