Description
We are pleased to offer this stunning Murano art glass vase by Giulio Radi for A.VE.M. This vase stands 8” tall x 5” at its widest point. It has a double sided pinch in the center of the vase, made in Italy. Giuilo Radi’s technique was unusual with gold inclusions and the difficult technique of marquetry to create the murrines. The vase is black with gold and multicolored murrines. The inside is solid black.
It is a mid-century modern piece made in the 1960’s and in excellent condition with no damage, no nicks, chips or cracks and a slightly rough pontil on the bottom.
