Obverse Features the crowned bust of Elizabeth I facing left.
The portrait shows some central softness and flatness from wear, but the outline and beaded inner border remain highly visible.
The legend reads E·D·G·ROSA·SINE·SPINA (Elizabeth by the Grace of God a Rose Without a Thorn), with the bottom portion of the letters clipped or lost to the edge damage.
Reverse : Features the long cross fourchée over the royal shield of arms (quartering France and England).
The legend reads CIVI TAS LON DON (City of London). The letters D O N are sharp, bold, and incredibly well-struck at the top left.
The Cross Crosslet mintmark sits directly above the top arm of the cross.
