Stored since removal in 2006 from the previous E36 M3 car it was installed in.

If your looking for a car stereo for your 90’s car then this could be the one
Alpine 7525R one of the best stereos of the 90’s

Tested and in full working order, as can be seen in the photos although there is an intermittent dimming of one line on the display, this doesn’t impact on the units performance and may be due to using a power source to power rather than being installed in a car. Please regard this as a defect in the display for the honesty of this listing.

Included in the sale is a Alpine CHR600 CD autochanger although the cartridge for the CD’s has been misplaced, I have therefore not been able to test and will include as free of charge with the headunit.

The Alpine 7525R (circa 1993) is a highly regarded, top-of-the-range retro head unit from Alpine's golden era. Revered for its exceptional sound quality, oversized display, and premium cassette performance, it remains a favorite for period-correct 90s car builds and audio enthusiasts.
Key Features
Cassette & CD Control: Features a high-quality cassette transport with Dolby B & C, programmable track search, and blank skip. It also supports external Alpine CD shuttle controls.

Audio Performance: Built-in 4x30W amplifier and Alpine’s Sound Ambience Compensator.

Design: Distinctive oversized display and a retractable rotary volume control knob.

Security: Designed with a removable front panel (and "pull-out" security features in some variants).

The Pros
Superb Sound Quality: Delivers a warm, rich sound typical of 90s high-end Alpine equipment.
Vintage Aesthetic: Looks brilliant in classic interiors (like E30s and 911s), complete with iconic green backlighting.
Durability: Known to withstand high vibrations and rugged use.

The ConsOutdated Formats: Native playback is limited to analog cassettes. Modern digital streaming requires a cassette auxiliary adapter or an external CD changer emulator.
Cost & Rarity: As a vintage unit, good-condition models can be expensive or hard to find.
