This is a vintage yellow-painted wood Pepsi Cola bottle crate marked “CHICAGO” beneath the Pepsi name in bold black stenciled lettering. The crate has the classic metal corner braces and cut-out hand holds on each end that are typical of mid-century soda delivery crates, most likely dating to the 1950s or early 1960s based on the style and construction.

The yellow paint has a nice worn patina with heavy distressing throughout — this is from actual use, not manufactured aging. The wood bottom slats are solid and intact.
