They are built with an exceptional New Old Stock European cable that Gotham Audio marketed beginning in 1995. From the 1995-2000 these DGS branded cables were manufactured in the same Austrian factory where the world renowned Gotham Audio cables were produced and they were built to the same high standards as the Gotham range. Cost savings were achieved by offering a single layer Reussen shield in place of the double layer shield that made Gotham the cable of choice for the world's finest microphones. We are the only remaining source for the Austrian (NOS) DGS-1. 

DGS-1 is a super-flexible full sized interconnect cable clearly marked to identify its Austrian origin. High quality copper conductor (24 AWG) with lower capacitance insulation and 38 AWG copper wire Reussen shielding. The connectors (imported by Parts Express) are a brass bodied, gold plated RCA with red and white grommets at the entry point for good reliability and easy channel identification.
