I think these were most likely handmade in the 1960’s . These were decals that were purchased by the craftsperson who cut and beveled these wood plaques, applied a dark ebony stain to them, then affixed the decals. It was done quite well; the tell-tale “halo” from the edge of the transfer is barely visible and the images have stood the test of time.

They measure about 15” tall by about 7” wide, with a thickness just short of 1”

Both have hardware on the back for hanging.
