You are buying an old Portuguese army "quico" cap in lizard camouflage. Used by both, parachutists and commando troops. Practically a copy of the French Mle 59 "bigeard" hat but with the colors of the Portuguese lizard camouflage pattern. The same one that was used in the conflicts of the former Portuguese colonies in Africa, such as the war in Mozambique and Angola. This "quico" hat is from the period between the late 1970s and early 1980s.
The cap is in brand new unused condition, dead-stock. Made from 100% cotton in herringbone twill weave. Manufactured in Portugal. Size US 7 or medium (European 56). The dimensions are as follows:
