Being grades under VG could mean any of the following:
Record:
- Still playable but with surface noise
- Noticeable surface marks, light scratches
- Distortion and scratches
- Constant surface noise
- Scratches that cause clicks/pops/jumps
- Record unplayable
Sleeve:
- Folding, scuffing, discolouration
- Spine splits and tears
- Badly damaged/partly missing
- Significant quantity of pen/writing/stickers
- Significant mould/mottling
