The Petlas Elegant PT311 is a touring, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The ribbed tread elements provide a high number of biting edges to boost the handling ability and driving stability throughout the performance. This enables the tire to respond faster and more precisely to the driver's instructions, while structure is secured against the driving pressure. This greatly improves the maneuvering ability of the vehicle, enabling the driver to control the vehicle with confidence all the time.

The computer-optimized tread elements promote a noise-free driving experience. The tread design closely follows the driving surface and stabilizes the footprint. These specially designed tread elements lower the road and tread noise, preventing the road disturbances from reaching the vehicle's cabin. In other words, this allows the passengers to enjoy a quiet driving experience.

The Petlas Elegant PT311 utilizes its heat-resistant compound and ribbed tread elements to boost the summer weather traction. The detailed tread ribs closely follow the driving surface and enhance traction on dry and wet road surfaces. The sipe and notch design provide biting edges to further improve the overall road gripping ability. The compound prevents heat build-up across the tread area, while grooves eliminate water from the footprint in order to avoid hydroplaning. The combination of these features promotes a superb summer weather performance.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
