Custom Crouse-Hinds L-862 Airport Runway Taxiway Light Table Lamp W/ Switch
- This is a very unique piece. It is a Crouse-Hinds L-862 Airport Runway Taxiway light custom mounted to a decorative wooden platform and made into a table lamp
- This piece is in excellent original condition with minimal wear
- The original paint is in excellent condition with minimal wear.
- The authentic runway light is constructed of heavy cast metal with a very thick and robust glass dome
- It has been outfitted with a convenient toggle switch to conveniently switch the lamp on and off
- The wooden base is beautifully made and displays very nicely
- There is a subtle patch of discoloration on the top of the wood base where a plaque bearing the original recipient's name was removed (this plaque has been relocated to the bottom of the piece to preserve its history)
- The lamp works properly and looks great lit up
- The wooden base measures about 11-1/2" x 11-1/2" and the total height of the piece is about 15" tall. The light itself (minus the base) stands about 12" tall.
