Authentic original U.S. Army enlisted men’s wool service coat issued during World War II. This jacket was produced under a pre–Pearl Harbor Quartermaster Corps contract dated January 15, 1941, making it an early WWII example. Manufactured by Frank Garrido & Sons, Inc. and retaining original brass U.S. Army eagle buttons, shoulder epaulets, and period-correct construction.
This is the classic long wool service coat worn by enlisted soldiers prior to the later Eisenhower (Ike) jacket introduction. Constructed from olive drab wool with a full lining, four front patch pockets with flaps, and a structured military cut. All visible buttons appear original and consistent. Interior ink markings are present, consistent with period issue and service use.
