Caslon Copal Flip Clock 701 For REPAIR Refurbishing READ Japan

Very Good working condition. Motor is working. All moving parts move correctly. Amber light faint. Alarm buzzer very low volume. A part inside is loose and rattles when clock is moved. Needs cleaning. The hour digits are green. The minutes are white. Seller unfamiliar with the clock, but perhaps these need to be corrected so that AM and PM are distinguished by color.

It would take very little effort to refurbish this clock. Seller is not a refurbisher and has not opened the clock.

DISCLAIMER: This clock sold and was returned by a refurbisher who said the original listing said that it keeps time and was therefore not as described. (It did not say that.) When it was returned, I plugged it in. At first, the time was wonky but I reset it and it ran for hours overnight and lost two minutes. In any event, this is being sold AS IS for repair and refurbishing. Returns will not be accepted.
