This listing is for a vintage lapel pin tack of the Apollo Lunar Lander and it is made of 10k gold. The pin is marked LGB (this is Balfour's mark) and 10k. It weighs approximately 4 grams. There is some lgiht wear, but it looks good overall. The backing is stamped Japan (I am not sure if this is original). The solid 10k gold pins were not available to the public. They were typically presented to NASA employees and contractors to recognize their work on the missions. Similar ones were also given to astronauts.
