OVERVIEW

The Yokohama Geolandar H/T G056 is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for crossover vehicles, SUVs and light trucks. Yokohama offers a 70,000 mile tread wear warranty with the crossover and SUV sizes and a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with the light truck sizes.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The special tread pattern and the advanced orange oil compound work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The optimized tread elements find good grip in all weather, while the orange oil compound keeps its flexibility all year, even in colder temperatures. The wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The combination ensures a comfortable driving experience.

The different tread elements work together to lengthen the tread life. The adaptive shoulder blocks form a continuous rib on the tire's shoulders, the triple 3D siping detail and the special optimized footprint ensure even wear across the tread area. They manage to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the entire tire surface by stabilizing the tread elements. The orange oil compound is wear-resistant, ensuring a longer lasting and slower tread wear rate throughout the tire's lifetime.

The advanced compound also manages to offer a fuel efficient drive. Its increased traction eases the driving pressure off the tire and, with it, lowers the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tires that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire's motion. The lesser the rolling resistance decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, making the tire fuel conscious and environmentally friendly at the same time.

The special adaptive shoulder tread blocks ensure a quiet drive. They create a continuous rib on both of the model's shoulders which prevents the airwaves from entering the tire's footprint and coming into contact with the tread elements. As the road and tread pattern noise are not generated while the tires are in motion, the tire guarantees a quiet and comfortable performance.

The Geolandar H/T G056's strengthened internal structure ensures exceptional durability. The reinforced ply construction prevents deformation in the tire's structure under heavy load pressure. The optimized tire shape ensures a safer driving experience in all weather.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
