Vintage Telsen 2-Range Pocket Type Voltmeter – British Made with Original Box.

Up for sale is a wonderful piece of British electrical history: an original vintage Telsen Pocket Type Voltmeter. This dual-range instrument is beautifully preserved and comes housed in its rare, original cardboard packaging.

KEY FEATURES & DETAILS:

Stunning Bakelite Casing: The meter is enclosed in a gorgeous, glossy brown marbled/mottled Bakelite body. The finish is excellent with a rich texture.

Dual Scale Face: Clean white dial face reading 0 to 9 Volts and 0 to 180 Volts marked clearly with red and black lettering.

Original Wiring: Includes the original cloth-braided lead wire and its distinct blue twin-prong terminal plug.

Original Box: Complete with the original orange and black Telsen retail box featuring the iconic company lion branding.

CONDITION REPORT:

METER: In very nice cosmetic condition. The Bakelite case is free from cracks, chips, or deep scratches. The glass display face is bright and legible. The needle rests freely near zero.

BOX: The original cardboard box shows some light age-related wear, including soft corners, edge scuffs, and minor storage creases, but it remains structurally intact and displays wonderfully alongside the meter.
