ITEM DESCRIPTION:

An exceptional find for collectors of vintage technology, early motoring gear, or wireless radio history: an original vintage Gloria "Dead Beat" Pocket Voltmeter in excellent cosmetic condition, complete with its stunning original gold-embossed presentation box.

KEY FEATURES & DETAILS:

Classic Watch-Style Design: The meter is housed in a bright, mirror-finish nickel or chrome-plated circular case with a top loop reminiscent of a pocket watch.

Dual-Scale Dial Face: A clean silver/white dial clearly marked "DEAD BEAT GLORIA FOREIGN" with dual measuring arcs.

Integrated & External Terminals: Features built-in contact spikes accented with red and green collars as well as its original fine brown cloth-braided lead wire terminating in a black pointer plug.

Stunning Textured Display Box: Housed in its gorgeous original red and green faux-lizard skin box. The lid features a beautifully preserved gold-foil stamped illustration of the meter. Inside, a deep royal blue velvet insert holds the gauge safely in place.

CONDITION REPORT:

Meter: In beautiful antique/vintage cosmetic condition. The metal casing is highly reflective and free from significant corrosion or deep scratches.

The glass face is clear.

The internal needle moves freely.

BOX: Exceptionally well-preserved for its age. The hinges and edges are solid, the corners remain sharp, and the gold foil detailing is bright and completely legible with minimal rubbing.
