A classic Rolex Datejust ref. 1603 dating to circa 1972, featuring a cool grey dial with a flat finish and crisp white text. The grey provides a pleasing departure from the more commonly encountered silver and champagne configurations.

The dial is fitted with applied baton hour markers, luminous plots and matching hands, with a date aperture at 3 o’clock. The 36mm stainless steel Oyster case is framed by the signature engine-turned bezel and paired with a period riveted Jubilee bracelet.

Powered by the Rolex caliber 1570 automatic movement, this is an appealing early-1970s Datejust with a slightly less conventional monochromatic look.
