Beautiful brass Victorian (1830s-1900s) era mail slot.  Fantastic condition for its age.  The springs for the portion of the mail slot the mailman pushes in are firm (not loose or wobbly).  Clean.  Measures 3" tall and 9" long.  No hardware for installation, but appears just to be some screws.
