Up for sale is a beautiful vintage lot of five (5) embossed clear glass soda bottles dating from the 1920s to the 1940s. These feature incredible Art Deco geometric patterns, swirls, and heavy textures that make them fantastic pieces for serious soda bottle collectors or gorgeous rustic home decor.
Included in this 5-piece collection:
1. Ski-Hi Beverage Art Deco Bottle – Features the striking embossed circles and squares pattern. Stamped on the base with the historic patent date: "PATENT JULY 15, 1924". Ski-Hi was an early flavor line under the Crush company umbrella.
2. Greensboro Orange Crush Bottling Co. Bottle – A matching Art Deco geometric design featuring circles and squares. Stamped on the base with "GREENSBORO C-CRUSH BOTTLING CO." and the matching "PATENT JULY 15, 1924". A fantastic regional North Carolina history piece!
3. Double Strength Sugar Beverages Bottle – A highly textured, early grid-patterned bottle from the era of the parent company that would become Double-Cola.
4. Chero "A Perfect Cola" Swirl Bottle (Laurens Glass Works) – Beautiful clear/light aqua glass with a heavy spiral twist pattern and an embossed crest logo on the front. Stamped on the base with patent "FEB 16-24" and "LGW" (Laurens Glass Works), from the Columbus, GA plant.
5. Nehi Bottling Co. Chero Swirl Bottle – A matching variant of the spiral swirl Chero-Cola bottle, explicitly embossed on the side with "NEHI BOTTLING COMPANY" along with production numbers "5 461" (dating it to around 1945-1946).
CONDITION:
All bottles are in good vintage, pre-owned condition with great shelf presence. Because these are authentic vintage pieces, they show normal signs of age including minor glass cloudiness, surface scuffs, and faint interior residue as pictured. There are no major devastating cracks or structural breaks. Please review all high-resolution photos carefully to judge exact cosmetic condition for yourself.
