A beautiful Vintage Mid-Century Brutalist Gold Tone Serving Spoon with a rustic, hand-forged feel.  Although there is no maker's mark to reveal the actual age of this spoon, the rugged, geometric, faceted texture on the handle gives it a distinct "sculpted by hand" or architectural look that was highly popular from the 1950s through the 1970s.  The slight gold tone combined with a rough, matte finish on the handle, strongly suggests it is made of solid bronze, brass, or a specialized alloy (like golden-hued nickel bronze, which was frequently used for mid-century barware and serving sets imported from places like Thailand or India).
