PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AND LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS BEFORE BIDDING.  PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS.

DESCRIPTION:  8.5 L (opened up), 9" W.  Vintage 1950s Elizabeth Arden Beaded Evening Cocktail purse.  Beautiful beaded design on front and partial on back all on a light gray silk fabric (not positive it's silk but it looks like it to me).  There are 10 small white shells decoration on front and back.  Rhinestones gold metal closure on top.  Rhinestones really sparkle in light but I couldn't get them to in the photos.  Inside lining is black satin fabric (not shiny).  There is one pocket inside with an Elizabeth Arden New York Paris Label attached.   In all the white beads on the purse there is one green bead on front left side at bottom (fourth to the last photo).  Not sure why it's there but interesting to see.  Purse is slightly heavy to hold because of all the beading.  Very nice collectible Elizabeth Arden Cocktail purse.

Condition:  Very good.  Clean inside and out.  Looks to be hardly used.  Very little loss of beads (some that have come off are inside the purse).  On the right side where the purse opens and closes is a very small amount of beads missing (see last photo).  Hard to see because gray fabric covers it when closed.  There is one of the small white shells missing on front of purse in middle at top.  I've looked to see if I could find another one but I'm not sure what kind of shell they are.  Possible buttons to look like shells.Please see all photos. bd clo
