About the Artist and Work

Cao Daqing: Born in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, he is a member of the Jiangsu Artists Association and formerly lectured at the Suzhou Institute of Urban Construction and Environmental Protection. His work often explores the lyrical beauty of traditional Chinese landscapes through woodblock printing.   The composition features traditional  houses with dark  roofs, an arched stone bridge , boats navigating the river. Limited Edition: signed and numbered by the artist in pencil along the bottom margin.
