Atari 1040STF computer package with original Atari SM124 monochrome monitor, Atari mouse, joystick, cables, Cubase 3.1 software and a large collection of original floppy disks.

I purchased this recently as a project and have spent time testing it. The machine boots correctly to the GEM desktop and loads software from floppy disk. The monitor displays a clear image and the mouse functions correctly.

The highlight of the package is that Cubase 3.1 loads successfully into the main arrange screen, as shown in the photographs. The floppy drive has been cleaned and is reading disks.

Please note:

This is vintage equipment over 30 years old. I have successfully loaded Cubase 3.1 and various other disks, however I have not tested every single floppy disk included. Some disks load correctly, while others may report read errors or may have deteriorated with age. Due to the age of the software media, individual disk functionality cannot be guaranteed.

Cosmetically the system presents very well for its age with the expected signs of use and age-related yellowing.
