At the heart of this genuine X22 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS396 sits a GM Performance 454 HO crate engine factory rated at 425 horsepower, delivering the aggressive torque and unmistakable sound that define late-60s American muscle. Built for strong street performance and reliability, the engine features an aluminum intake manifold, roller camshaft, Holley dual-feed carburetor, Mallory ignition system, and Hooker headers feeding into a Flowmaster dual exhaust setup.The upgraded big block provides significantly enhanced performance over the factory 396 while maintaining the correct muscle car character enthusiasts demand. Power is transferred through a Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 automatic transmission and a stout 3.36 Positraction rear end, creating an ideal combination of acceleration, drivability, and highway cruising capability. Detailed throughout, the engine bay presents exceptionally well with a clean factory-inspired appearance and high-quality restoration finishes. Finished in its factory-correct 52-52 Garnet Red, this Camaro presents with exceptional depth, gloss, and overall show-quality appearance.
