This is the fluid nozzle for Iwata Revolution series airbrushes — the precision component at the heart of the needle/nozzle/cap assembly that controls paint flow. Over time, nozzles can wear, clog beyond recovery, or sustain damage from cleaning tools. When that happens, a fresh genuine nozzle restores proper atomisation and stops frustrating paint leaks.

Iwata's Revolution nozzles are wrapped in a platinum alloy layer, which provides improved durability and chemical resistance compared to plain brass. This means the nozzle holds up better against solvent-based cleaners and aggressive thinners over its service life.

💡 Before You Buy — Quick Tips

Clogged ≠ broken. If your nozzle is clogged with dried paint, try soaking it in airbrush cleaner first. A replacement is only needed if the nozzle is physically damaged, cracked, or worn out.

Handle with care. Nozzles are precision-machined components. When fitting, tighten gently with the correct wrench — never force it or use pliers, as this can crack the nozzle tip.

0.4mm is versatile. This size handles a wide range of work from general model painting to larger coverage. If you need ultra-fine detail lines, you'd typically look at a 0.2mm or 0.23mm nozzle in a different Iwata series.
