Gibson 1978 Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst (1978) (no260523)

1978 Les Paul Standard

This is a Les Paul Standard from the era featuring a 3-piece maple top & 1-piece mahogany back body and a 3-piece maple neck.
It boasts a bright cherry sunburst color typical of the 70s, with a beautiful flame maple grain visible depending on the angle.

It is equipped with two original "stamped numbered" pickups. The potentiometers are dated 1377808 (CTS 8th week of 1978).

The nut and frets are original, and the playing condition is currently good.
The exterior shows signs of age-appropriate wear such as dents and scratches, and there are cracks on the truss rod cover and control knobs.
The tuners, bridge, control knobs, and screws have been replaced.
