The Myrka was a genetically modified reptilian war beast created by the Silurians, a huge dinosaur-like creature capable of delivering deadly electric shocks in battle.

While the recent Blu-ray Special Edition of Warriors of the Deep introduced a completely redesigned Myrka using modern sculpting and CGI effects, this model stays faithful to the original television version seen in the 1984 broadcast. Rather than trying to modernise the creature, this sculpt celebrates the wonderfully theatrical and slightly awkward “pantomime horse” appearance that has made the original Myrka such a memorable part of classic Doctor Who history.
