Ulysses follows Leopold Bloom, Stephen Dedalus, and Molly Bloom through a single day in Dublin on 16 June 1904. Modelled on Homer's Odyssey, it is a landmark of modernist literature renowned for its stream-of-consciousness technique and linguistic experimentation. Widely considered one of the greatest novels ever written in the English language.
