OVERVIEW

The Accelera Iota ST68 is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some touring sizes. This model comes with a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty.

The tire has excellent all weather traction thanks to its asymmetrical tread pattern, as it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather. The circumferential main grooves and the Exclamation Sipes improve the wet traction of the tire and its hydroplaning resistance by dispersing water from below the tire footprint. The better traction and the resistance to hydroplaning upgrade the all weather traction, offering year round safety.

The tread pattern also enhances the driving stability and steering responsiveness. The three interlocking tread block lanes stabilize the tire against the driving pressure, even at high speeds, allowing the tire to perform up to its highest capabilities. The steering precision and responsiveness are upgraded with the tire's maintained road contact. The constant road contact makes the tire quick and accurate in its response to the driver's instructions, allowing effortless handling and controllability in all weather conditions.

The asymmetrical tread design also improves the tread life of the tire. It prevents irregular wear as it distributes the driving pressure equally across the tread area. The prevention of irregular wear on the tread enables the tire to be used for a longer period of time, which increases its tread life.

The Iota ST68 offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The diagonal lines in the tread pattern lower the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle while the tires are in motion. This is made possible, as they channel the airwaves through the tire's footprint, preventing them from getting into contact with the tread elements, providing an enjoyable drive.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
