 🔧 QMI Multiplex Oil Mist Detector Head (Part No-Q02) 

CONDITION: New without box 

📏 Detectors measure Oil Mist in restricted spaces, specifically in an engine’s crankcase for marine systems. 

Dedicated Monitoring: A detector is allocated to every space to be monitored and is mounted to draw Oil Mist from the crankcase via a common suction rail using an independent fan. ⚙️ 

Detection Principle: The detector operates using the principle of light scatter (nephelometry). Power and signals are transmitted to and from the monitor through a single cable, sending a timed analogue signal. 💡

 Continuous Sampling: All detectors sample simultaneously and continuously every 500 milliseconds. 🔄

🛠️ Front Cover 

Back Plate: Permanently fitted to the engine with inlet and outlet ports through which the oil mist travels via the chamber, assisted by an external fan. A stainless-steel filter is located in the inlet port. 🏭

Chamber and Cover: Guides the oil mist sample past the sensors. This sub-assembly is factory-calibrated and fitted to the Back Plate using 5 x M4 assembly retaining screws. The sub-assembly can be removed for detector lens cleaning. 🔧
