Introduced in the early 1950s, the prototypes were built around a large one-piece steel casting and remained in regular service into the early 2000s, with some still in work train service today! Like the prototype, this General Steel Castings (GSC) 53' Flat Car model features a die-cast metal body for excellent detail and performance.
