Description:
MINOLTA 110 ZOOM SLR MK II ROKKOR-MACRO 25-50MM F/4.5 CAMERA JAPAN
Notes:
Minolta 110 Zoom SLR Mk II Rokkor-Macro 25-50mm f/4.5 Camera Japan One of the strangest, coolest, and most unexpectedly serious cameras of the entire 1970s miniature-film era. This is the legendary Minolta 110 Zoom SLR Mk II fitted with the integrated Rokkor-Macro 25-50mm f/4.5 zoom lens system. Unlike most “toy-adjacent” 110 cameras, this was a genuine interchangeable-thinking, exposure-conscious, actual-SLR-engineering flex from Minolta during the peak years of compact cartridge photography. And yes — it looks exactly like the camera prop from a forgotten Scandinavian cyberpunk detective film. Features include: Genuine reflex viewing SLR design Minolta Rokkor-Macro zoom lens 25-50mm f/4.5 lens system 110 cartridge film format Through-the-lens viewing Compact modular industrial design Hot shoe mount Made in Japan Exceptionally handsome late-70s aesthetic insanity This camera series has become increasingly collectible because: It was absurdly over-engineered for 110 film The Rokkor optics are legitimately respectable Nobody else made anything quite like it It radiates “future technology” as imagined in 1978 Condition Notes Camera presents very clean cosmetically Lens glass appears good overall with normal age-related dust possible No obvious fungus observed Film chamber appears clean Controls move as expected Untested with film Battery compartment not deeply tested beyond visual inspection Sold as vintage photographic equipment As with all vintage cameras of this era, buyers should expect possible servicing needs including seals, lubrication, electrical cleaning, or calibration depending on intended use.
