A beautifully made fitted wooden games box with dovetail construction and fold-out racing board to the interior lid. The set retains a lovely selection of original contents including painted racing figures, dominoes, Bezique registers, cribbage board, turned wooden shakers/cups, gaming counters and dice.
The horse racing section is particularly decorative with colourful painted jockeys and printed track graphics to the folding board.
A charming decorative and collectible antique games set dating from the late Victorian / early Edwardian period.
Condition is age related with general wear, scratches, marks and losses consistent with use and age. The set appears incomplete and is sold exactly as photographed.
