A beautifully made fitted wooden games box with dovetail construction and fold-out racing board to the interior lid. The set retains a lovely selection of original contents including painted racing figures, dominoes, Bezique registers, cribbage board, turned wooden shakers/cups, gaming counters and dice.

The horse racing section is particularly decorative with colourful painted jockeys and printed track graphics to the folding board.

A charming decorative and collectible antique games set dating from the late Victorian / early Edwardian period.

Condition is age related with general wear, scratches, marks and losses consistent with use and age. The set appears incomplete and is sold exactly as photographed. Some paint wear and damage to the racing figures. Exterior of the wooden box has surface wear and marks. Please study all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
