IMPORTANT — EM-2 vs EM-3 APPLICATION NOTE
EM-2 Gen V (Single Motor System): Uses one Y45-00005-51 motor driving one blower wheel. Replacing the single motor restores full airflow to the unit.
EM-3 Gen V (Dual Split Blower System): Uses two Y45-00005-51 motors — one per side of the split blower assembly. If one side of the overhead rack is blowing strong while the other side is dead or weak, the failed side motor needs replacement. Order two units to service both sides simultaneously and prevent an immediate repeat failure on the aging second motor.
Do not use in EM-1 Gen V units. The EM-1 Gen V uses the Y45-00005-50 motor, which is a different part.
