I have the pleasure of helping sell heirlooms of the McCrillis woodworking family estate. The McCrillis Handle Company was founded in the mid to late 1800s in Norwalk, Ohio. Making handles, as well as other fine wood products (cribbage, chess, ballot boxes, etc).

These handles and tools went on implements used by the railroads, lumbermen, miners, iron workers, and others.

In 1910, McCrillis partnered with Bill Horn of W.C. Horn Co. out of New York to begin forming Horn/McCrillis which became known for its very high quality wood items from 1920-1959 utilizing the talents of McCrillis with the distribution network of Horn.
