What other sellers might not tell you about teak. Teak is naturally very high in oil content. This is precisely why it lasts so long in harsh western European climates. Due to this high oil content and in certain temperatures and humidity, a slight furring / blooming may occur on the surface of the wood. This can occur whilst the product is contained in its packaging during warehousing and transportation from the Far East. This is completely normal for high quality teak and is not a product fault. It simply wipes off with a damp cloth.

Warranty: All our furniture is supplied with 12 months warranty. This is for domestic use only. Commercial or semi-commercial use is not covered and is entirely at the buyers own risk. All orders are fulfilled under our standard terms and conditions as shown on our web site. Clause 6 states…

6.Warranties: As standard, all goods supplied by us include a 12 month warranty against manufacturing or material defects. All our products are designed and tested for domestic use and the 12 month term applies to domestic use only. At our discretion, we will repair or replace the goods as necessary within this period. The 12 month period starts from the date on which the products were delivered. Please note that commercial or semi-commercial use of any kind is not covered under our domestic warranty. All our products are tested to the relevant UK and European domestic fire and safety standards. If you choose to use our products for commercial use then by purchasing from us, you accept that all risks of doing so are passed to you the buyer. We do not offer commercial warranties.
