EXCLUSIVE TO GLENCOYNE ENGINEERING LTD
The engine mounts that everyone is talking about. You are buying one pair of round metal/rubber engine mounts, equivalent to Land Rover part ANR1808, complete with nuts, plain washers and spring lockwashers, exactly as you see in the photo. These mounts are made in the UK to a very high standard and are not to be confused with the cheap (and sometimes not so cheap) hard rubber mounts that you see for sale elsewhere. These are the only mounts on the market which will reduce Land Rover engine vibrations to an acceptable level, especially 200TDi conversions. Try them, and if you are not happy you can send them back for a full refund. I went to a lot of trouble to source these: they have been laboratory tested against the high quality OEM British-made mounts that Bearmach used to sell , and the performance is identical. The only difference is that the threaded studs are about 5mm longer than on the original mounts: this should not cause a problem although the studs need to be shortened slightly on one end to fit to Defender gearbox.
These will fit engine and gearbox on all Land Rover 90, 110, 130 and Defender models 1983-93 (up to the end of 200TDi production), all UK engine options (4 cylinder petrol, V8 petrol, 4 cylinder diesel and turbodiesel including 200TDi). They will NOT fit 300TDi, TD5 or TDCi Defenders which have a totally different design of mount. They can also be fitted to engine and gearbox on Series II, IIA and III, but the mounts are a slightly larger diameter than the correct Series mounts, so the end plates will need trimming with an angle grinder to clear the mounting brackets on the engine and chassis. I can send a drawing on request which shows which bits need cutting.
Price is for one pair of mounts (enough to do either engine or gearbox). 5% discount if you buy two or more pairs. (UK only, for some reason the discount system doesn't always work for overseas orders.) Worldwide shipping is available via eBay's Global Shipping Program. Shipped by Royal Mail Tracked 48.
